Purified Anti-human CD151 Antibody

50-6 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD151 antigen. CD151 (alternatively called PETA-3, SFA-1 or GP27) is a 29 kD member of the tetraspanin family that is located on the surface of cells such as stem cells, epithelial cells, endothelial cells and platelets. CD151 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, namely, α6 and integrins α3. CD151 is a fairly uncommon antibody target, with a little more than 1600 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD151 is vital to stem cells research, frequently serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography.
