About
Purified Anti-human CD300a Antibody
MEM-260
MEM-260 is an anti-human monoclonal antibody that is specific for the CD300a antigen. CD300a (alternatively called CLM-8) is a transmembrane protein that is expressed on the surface of cells such as macrophages, T cells, dendritic cells and B cells. In some organisms, CD300a is a repressor of MyD88-dependent toll-like receptor signaling pathway, suppresses B cell receptor signaling pathway and is a promoter of phosphoprotein phosphatase activity. Also, it is a member of important cellular pathways, for example, the negative regulation of B cell receptor signaling pathway, negative regulation of MyD88-dependent toll-like receptor signaling pathway and regulation of T cell receptor signaling pathway. From a research standpoint, it is of biological interest due to its association with critical macromolecules/ligands like unknown. CD300a is a relatively rare antibody target, with fewer than 400 publications in the last decade. Even still, CD300a is essential for innate immunity and immunology research, commonly serving as a phenotypic marker for differentiating cell types in flow cytometric applications. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography.
