Purified Mouse Anti-human AGR2/AGR3 Antibody
AGR3.4, monoclonal
Anterior gradient protein 2 homolog (sometimes referred to as Secreted cement gland protein XAG-2 homolog or HPC8) is a protein with a molecular weight of 23 kDa, located in the extracellular space and endoplasmic reticulum of cells. In humans, AG-2 is thought to be essential to organismal processes, for example, lung goblet cell differentiation, mucus secretion and digestive tract morphogenesis. It binds with dystroglycan, identical protein and epidermal growth factor receptor. AG-2 is the subject of intensive examination because of the fact that it is a component of the positive regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor signaling pathway. Additionally, it acts to positively regulate protein localization to plasma membrane, gene expression and cell-substrate adhesion while also inhibits cell death.
