Chloride intracellular channel protein has been thought to be involved with important functions like chloride channel and voltage-gated ion channel activity. Sequencing of Chloride intracellular channel protein has shown evidence of it contains a primary structural unit, the GST C-terminal domain. Chloride intracellular channel protein is an integral part of ion transmembrane transport.
