Purified Mouse Anti-human DR3 Antibody *JD3, monoclonal*
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 25 is a 45 kDa transmembrane protein that can be expressed in the cytosol, plasma membrane and extracellular region of cells. It is sometimes called apoptosis-inducing receptor AIR, Apo-3 and lymphocyte-associated receptor of death. Sequencing of lymphocyte-associated receptor of death has demonstrated it contains 3 conserved structural units: cytoplasmic, extracellular and death domain. It has been closely linked to essential functions like signaling receptor and tumor necrosis factor-activated receptor activity. Lymphocyte-associated receptor of death is thought to be essential to apoptotic process. It is the subject of extensive study due to the fact that it is involved with the tumor necrosis factor-mediated signaling pathway, apoptotic signaling pathway and cell surface receptor signaling pathway. It aids in organismal processes, namely, apoptotic process and signal transduction.
