Protirelin (Protirelin, protirelin) is a tripeptide composed of L-pyroglutamyl, L-histidyl and L-prolinamide residues joined in sequence. It has been widely used in the study of critical cell-based enzymes like type-1-pyroglutamyl aminopeptidase, cdc2-related kinase and cystyl aminopeptidases, specifically in cell-lines such as adenoma cells, follicular cells and individual cells. Protirelin has a variety of applications in the examination of important cellular receptors such as peptide ligand-binding receptors, thyrotropin releasing hormone receptor and 5-HT1A receptor. It is vital for the application of essential cell-based activities like disease activity, peptidase activity and proliferative activity.
