Purified Mouse Anti-human LRRC32 Antibody
GARP5, monoclonal
Transforming growth factor β activator LRRC32 is a 72 kda transmembrane protein that can be located in the integral component of plasma membrane, nucleoplasm and extracellular space of cells. It is alternatively called Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 32, Garpin and Glycoprotein A repetitions predominant. In humans, LRRC32 is the subject of intensive study stemming from the fact that it acts in the transforming growth factor β receptor signaling pathway. Sequencing of LRRC32 has shown evidence of it contains 4 types of conserved structural units: extracellular, cytoplasmic, LRRNT and LRRCT domain. LRRC32 is an integral part of transforming growth factor β activation and transforming growth factor beta3 activation. It downregulates activated T cell proliferation and cytokine secretion, on the other hand, it also enhances gene expression. LRRC32 binds to transforming growth factor β and Growth factor. LRRC32 takes part in organismal processes, for example, secondary palate development.
