About
Purified Mouse Anti-human/mouse/rat PAG1 Antibody
PAG-C1, monoclonal
Phosphoprotein associated with glycosphingolipid-enriched microdomains 1 (alternatively called Transmembrane adapter protein PAG, Transmembrane phosphoprotein Cbp or Csk-binding protein) is a transmembrane protein with a molecular weight of 47 kDa, found in the membrane raft, integral component of membrane and plasma membrane of cells. Sequencing of transmembrane adapter protein PAG has shown evidence that it contains 2 types of conserved structural units: extracellular and cytoplasmic domain. Transmembrane adapter protein PAG aids in T cell activation. It is the subject of intensive research stemming from the fact that it is involved with the T cell receptor signaling pathway. Transmembrane adapter protein PAG is thought to be essential to organismal processes, for example, intracellular signal transduction, adaptive immune response and signal transduction. It acts to negatively regulate T cell activation. Transmembrane adapter protein PAG binds with SH2 domain and S-palmitoyl cysteine.
