Purified Mouse Anti-human TTF-1 Antibody
AHC0254, Monoclonal, IgG2b, kappa
Transcription termination factor 1 (sometimes referred to as TTF-I, RNA polymerase I termination factor or Transcription termination factor I) is a protein with a molecular weight of 103 kDa, found in the cytosol, nucleolus and plasma membrane of cells. In humans, transcription termination factor I has been found to be involved in organismal processes, namely, DNA-templated transcription, termination of RNA polymerase I transcription and cellular protein metabolic process. It is involved in the negative regulation of DNA replication. Sequencing of transcription termination factor I has exemplified it contains 2 types of conserved structural units: Myb-like 1 and Myb-like 2 domain. Transcription termination factor I binds with chromatin and DNA.
