3-Nitro-L-tyrosine is a 3-nitrotyrosine comprising L-tyrosine having a nitro group at the 3-position on the phenyl ring. It has a variety of applications in the study of important biological activities such as oxidase activity, intrinsic activity and dismutase activity, especially in cell-lines like plant cells, host cells and cultured cells. 3-Nitrotyrosine has been widely used in the examination of important cell-based pathways such as signaling pathway and serotonin pathway.
