XFD488 Anti-mouse/ dog CD80 Antibody
16-10A1
The 16-10A1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse/ dog CD80, a 60 kD transmembrane glycoprotein commonly located on the surface of dendritic cells, macrophages, T cells, Tregs and B cells. CD80 is associated with a variety of biologically interesting macromolecules/ligands, in particular, CD152 (CTLA-4) and CD28. CD80 is a moderately popular antibody target, with over 19000 publications in the last decade. CD80 is often used in flow cytometry applications as a phenotypic marker for differentiation of cell types, particularly in the study of immunology and neuroscience cell markers. This antibody was purified through affinity chromatography and conjugated to XFD488 (ex/em = 499/520 nm). XFD488 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has a chemical structure similar to that of Alexa Fluor® 488 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of Thermo Fisher). It is compatible with the 488 nm laser and 530/30 nm bandpass filter (for example, as in the BD LSRFortessa™ Cell Analyzer).
