Can ribosomes be considered inclusion bodies?

Posted November 16, 2022

Answer

Ribosomes cannot be considered inclusion bodies. Instead, they can be considered as an intermediate between inclusion bodies and cell organelles. Ribosomes are granular, non-membranous macromolecules that are composed of RNA and proteins. They play an integral role in protein synthesis in cells.
