What are the similarities between CRISPR and CRISPR Cas9?

Posted February 28, 2024

Answer

Both are technologies used in genome editing and genetic engineering. They are also highly efficient. They both use the CRISPR system, and thus have short, clustered palindromic sequences. Both also have applications in biomedical research, and are relatively easy to use compared to older genome editing techniques.
