What are the similarities between plasmid DNA and genomic DNA?

Plasmid DNA and genomic DNA are two types of DNA that are present in living organisms. Both types of DNA are double stranded, contain genes, and are present in bacteria and archaea. Deoxyribonucleotides are the building blocks of both.
