What are the similarities in the transcription between eukaryotes and prokaryotes?

Posted February 22, 2023

Answer

In both prokaryotic and eukaryotic transcription, the chemical composition and the basic chemistry behind the process remains the same. Both types of transcriptions use RNA polymerase as a catalyst to induce RNA synthesis. For both transcriptions, one strand of DNA functions as the template. RNA molecules are synthesized in both prokaryotic and eukaryotic transcriptions.
