What happens if there is no nucleolus in the cell?

Posted April 17, 2024

Answer

The nucleolus is an organelle that is found inside the nucleus of eukaryotic cells. It contains DNA, RNA, and proteins and plays a crucial role in ribosome production and the synthesis of proteins in the cells. If there is no nucleolus in the cell, the cell would not be able to produce ribosomes and protein synthesis would not take place.
