What is liposomal glutathione?

Posted November 30, 2022

Answer

Liposomal glutathione is an active form of glutathione that is contained inside a lipid molecule to supplement absorption. When taken as a supplement, it is absorbed by the human body in high amounts and has a shorter shelf life than reduced glutathione. Liposomal glutathione supports mitochondrial function, as well as brain health and promotes healthy aging. The drawbacks are that it has a foul taste and may cause side effects for people sensitive to soy lecithin.
