Where are lipids stored in cells?

Posted December 21, 2023

Answer

Lipids are stored in adipose tissue and bone marrow. In adipose cells, they are stored in adipocytes, which are a type of specialized fat cells. Adipocytes, which act as a cushioning and insulating layer around organs and under the skin, have an almost unlimited capacity to store lipids.
