XFD350 is manufactured by AAT Bioquest, and it has the same chemical structure of Alexa Fluor® 350 (Alexa Fluor® is the trademark of ThermoFisher). The conjugates of streptavidin are commonly used together with a biotin conjugate for specific detection of a variety of proteins, protein motifs, nucleic acids, and other biomolecules in western blots, flow cytometry, imaging and microscopy, and microplate assays. XFD350-streptavidin conjugate is equivalent to Alexa Fluor® 350 streptavidin, comprised of a biotin-binding streptavidin covalently attached to XFD350.
