NanoDrop Spectrophotometer is better for DNA quantification. Gel eletrophoresis is the better option to measure quality rather than quantity.

A NanoDrop Spectrophotometer is a very small spectrophotometer. It is capable of reading DNA concentration and purity accurately in as little as 1µl. It determines the concentration and purity of a particular substance in a liquid using the absorbance or transmission of light through the liquid.
