Is ribosome bigger than lysosome?

Posted October 2, 2023

Answer

No, a ribosome is smaller than a lysosome

Ribosomes range in size from 20 to 30 nanometers, whereas lysosomes range in size from 0.1 to 1.2 micrometers depending on the materials taken up for digestion.

1 micrometer (μm) = 1000 nanometers (nm)
