Posted October 2, 2024

Answer

Exosomes are tiny, membrane-bound vesicles produced by various cell types. They are formed within the cell’s endosomal compartment and released into the bloodstream through a process known as exocytosis. Exosomes typically range from 30 to 150 nanometers in diameter. Exosomes act as messengers between cells, facilitating communication by transferring their contents to target cells.
