What are the similarities between autosomes and chromosomes?

Answer
Both autosomes and chromosomes are found in the human genome inside the nucleus where they exist in pairs. Both contain DNA and proteins, and both segregate during cell division. Because both autosomes and chromosomes contain genes, they are both responsible for inheritance and determining an organism’s characteristics.
