What are the similarities between mRNA and tRNA?

Posted April 27, 2023

Answer

mRNA and tRNA are both types of RNA (ribonucleic acid) present in living organisms. Both are single-stranded polymers of ribonucleotides. Although mRNA and tRNA perform different functions, both have cooperative functions in the synthesis of proteins and both are essential for the purpose of protein synthesis.
