What does phage display detect?

Posted July 21, 2022

Answer

Phage display detects protein-protein, protein-DNA, and protein-peptide interactions. Additionally, it detects receptor binding sites and helps to improve or modify the affinity of proteins for binding partners. In diagnostics, phage libraries can be injected into terminally ill patients and collected from tissues to discover organic specific peptides.
