What test can identify changes in non-coding DNA?

Posted June 1, 2022

Answer

Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) is a genetic test that is used to identify changes in noncoding DNA. WGS delivers a comprehensive view of the total genome, including the coding and noncoding regions. This is unlike whole exome sequencing (WES), which only targets the coding regions.
