Toxins produced by gram positive bacteria include but are not limited to: 

  • Streptococcal toxins
  • Listeria toxin
  • Tetanus toxin
  • Anthrax toxins
  • Staphylococcal toxins
  • Enterococcal toxins
  • Diphtheria toxin
  • Pneumolysin
  • Bacillus cereus toxins

Each of these toxins possesses a unique mechanism of action that causes a unique pathology.
