Where are apoptotic bodies found?

Apoptotic bodies (ApoBDs) are found in the plasma membrane where they appear as membranous sacs ranging from 50 nm to 5000 nm in diameter. They are produced from a variety of cells undergoing programmed cell death, formed during plasma membrane blebbing.
