Where does coumarin come from?

Answer

Coumarin occurs naturally in tonka beans and cinnamon. Coumarin is also found in vegetables, spices, fruits, seeds, medicinal plants, and all parts of plants like the stems, roots, and leaves. Trace amounts of coumarin can also be found in green tea, bison grass, and various beers.
