Where is DNA found in cells?

Answer

In eukaryotes, most DNA is located in the cell nucleus. A small amount of DNA can be found in the mitochondria. DNA located in the cell nucleus is known as nuclear or autosomal DNA. DNA located in the mitochondria are known as mitochondrial DNA.
