Estradiol is an estrogen steroid hormone and the major female sex hormone. It is also called 17 beta-estradiol. Estradiol is involved in the regulation of the estrous and menstrual female reproductive cycles. It is responsible for the development of female secondary sexual characteristics and important in the development and maintenance of female reproductive tissues and pregnancy. It also has important effects in many other tissues including bone, fat, skin, liver, and the brain. Though estradiol levels in males are much lower compared to those in females, estradiol has important roles in males as well. An estradiol test measures the amount of the hormone estradiol in your blood. It is also called an E2 test. An estradiol test has a number of clinically important applications. Estradiol-HRP conjugate is a convenient building block for developing estradiol assays.

Application notes
Estradiol-HRP conjugates have been characterized with our ABTS (#11001), TMB (#11003) and ADHP (#11000) peroxidase substrates. A typical of 1:5,000 to 20,000 dilution were used for ELISA application.
Note     The suggested working dilution is provided as a guide only. It is recommended that the users titrates the product for use in their tests using proper positive and negative controls.

Formulation
Reconstitue 1 mg powder in 100 µL ddH2O to make 10 mg/mL stock solution. The final formulation of the reconstitued conjugate is in 100 mM Sodium Phosphate Buffer, pH 6.0 with 2 mg/mL BSA, 3% trehalose, and 0.01% thimerosal as a stabilizer.
