Can I add MitoROS dyes to my cell growth media?
Posted June 12, 2019
Can I use it with growth media containing serum?
ROS
cell assay
flow cytometry
Answer
Yes, you can add
MitoROS
™
580
and
MitoROS
™
520
to cell growth media. We've tested both dyes in DMEM containing 5% serum, and they performed well. Furthermore, by adding the dye to the growth media it increases the dye incubation time (1-2 hours).
