Are solutions homogeneous?

Posted March 28, 2023

Answer

Yes, solutions are considered homogeneous as they have a uniform composition with the dissolved material present in the same amount throughout the solution. It’s important to note that although all solutions are homogeneous, all homogeneous mixtures are not solutions. For example, air is a homogeneous mixture of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. However, it is not a solution.
