What are organelles found within the cytoplasm?

Posted June 17, 2024

Answer

All of the organelles that exist in eukaryotes are found within the cytoplasm. The major organelles found in the cytoplasm include: the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and golgi apparatus. Prokaryotes do not have membrane bound organelles. Instead, DNA is found in a region called the nucleoid, floating freely within the cytoplasm.
