What are the processing steps for messenger RNAs?

Posted August 18, 2022

Answer

The process to make mRNA from DNA is known as transcription, and it occurs in the nucleus. The mRNA conducts the synthesis of proteins, which occurs in the cytoplasm. mRNA formed in the nucleus is transported out of the nucleus and into the cytoplasm where it becomes attached to ribosomes.
