What are the similarities between 16s rRNA and 16s rDNA?

Answer
One similarity is that both are essential for the translation process of prokaryotic mRNA and thus are also nucleotide sequences found in prokaryotes. The sequences of 16S rRNA and 16S rDNA are highly conserved. Additionally, both 16S rRNA and 16S rDNA are components of the small ribosomal subunit in prokaryotic cells.
