Where is tRNA located?

Answer
tRNA is produced in the nucleus, where it is transcribed from DNA. After transcription, tRNA molecules undergo processing before they are exported from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In the cytoplasm, tRNA molecules carry out their function in protein synthesis by transporting amino acids to the ribosome. tRNA molecules can also travel in the opposite direction from the cytoplasm back to the nucleus.
