What are the similarities between T cells and B cells?

Posted August 18, 2023

Answer

T cells and B cells are both types of lymphocytes. Both originate in the bone marrow and both are involved in adaptive immunity. Both cells are nucleated, motile, and non-phagocytic. T cells and B cells are both part of the lymphatic system. Both play key roles in protecting the immune system and help to fight infections.
