What is single-cell sequencing?

Posted February 9, 2024

Answer

Single-cell sequencing involves sequencing individual cells to gather detailed genomic, multi-omics, or transcriptomic data. Single-cell sequencing allows researchers to analyze the genetic makeup of individual cells within a heterogeneous population. It does this by generating comprehensive molecular information obtained from the entire genome from tens of thousands of individual cells.
