Where are nuclear pores found?

Posted February 10, 2023

Answer

Nuclear pores are found in the nuclear membrane. Nuclear pores are protein-lined channels that appear as circular openings in the nuclear membrane. They are selectively permeable and play a vital role in regulating the flow of molecules between the nucleus and cytoplasm, allowing only mRNA and proteins to pass through.
