Can Cy3 be used in flow cytometry?

Posted July 27, 2021

Answer

Yes, Cy3 can be used in flow cytometry, however it is more appropriate for use in applications where a smaller dye is required. This is because it does not give the fluorescence intensity comparable to that of larger dyes such as PE (Phycoerythrin) or APC (Allophycocyanin).
