What are the similarities between nuclear membrane and nuclear envelope?

Posted February 10, 2023

Answer

The nuclear membrane and nuclear envelope are two structural components of the nucleus. Both envelope the nucleoplasm entirely, maintaining a unique environment inside the nucleus and serving as a selective barrier, permitting only select materials to pass into and out of the nucleus and the cytoplasm.
