APC-iFluor® 750-streptavidin conjugate

APC-iFluor® 750-Streptavidin Conjugate is a near-infrared fluorescent probe for detecting biotinylated antibodies and other biomolecules in flow cytometry and biotin-streptavidin-based assays.

Streptavidin-based Conjugate: Uses biotin-binding streptavidin with APC-iFluor® 750 fluorescent labeling.
Red Laser Excitation: Excitation at 651 nm supports red laser-compatible flow cytometry.
Near-infrared Emission: Emission at 783 nm with Cy7® filter compatibility.
Indirect Detection: Enables fluorescent detection of biotinylated primary antibodies.
Applications: Suitable for flow cytometry and biotin-streptavidin-based detection assays.

<p>HL-60 cells were incubated with (Red, +) or without (Green, -) mouse Anti-Human HLA-ABC Biotin (W6/32-Biotin) followed by APC-iFluor® 750-streptavidin conjugate. The fluorescence signal was monitored using ACEA NovoCyte flow cytometer in APC-C7 channel</p>

Overview

Streptavidin conjugates are widely used together with a conjugate of biotin for specific detection of a variety of proteins, protein motifs, nucleic acids and other molecules since streptavidin has a very high binding affinity for biotin. This APC-iFluor® 750-streptavidin conjugate comprises streptavidin (as the biotin-binding protein) with APC-iFluor® 750 covalently attached (as the fluorescent label). It is commonly used as a second step reagent for indirect immunofluorescent staining, when used in conjunction with biotinylated primary antibodies. It is a very valuable tool for biotin-streptavidin-based biological assays and tests using flow cytometry with a Cy7® filter set. A variety of the complementary biotinylated reagents are available from numerous commercial vendors.
