Bicine (1 M, pH 8.26) Preparation and Recipe

Bicine is used in peptide and protein biochemical applications, and is ideal for low temperatures. Bicine is a Zwitterionic compound, also known as a dipolar ion.

To prepare

L of Bicine (1 M, pH 8.26):

Bicine (mw: 163.17 g / mol)	#	#

Prepare 800 mL of dH2O in a suitable container.
Add # of Bicine to the solution
Adjust solution to desired pH with 10N NaOH.
Add dH2O until the volume is 1 L.
