Bicine (1 M, pH 8.26) Preparation and Recipe
Bicine is used in peptide and protein biochemical applications, and is ideal for low temperatures. Bicine is a Zwitterionic compound, also known as a dipolar ion.
To prepare L of Bicine (1 M, pH 8.26):

- Prepare 800 mL of dH2O in a suitable container.
- Add 163.17 g of Bicine to the solution.
- Adjust solution to desired pH with 10N NaOH.
- Add dH2O until the volume is 1 L.
