PBS with Ca2+and Mg2+ (D-PBS) Preparation and Recipe

DPBS (Dulbecco's phosphate-buffered saline) with Ca2+ and Mg2+ is widely used for reagent preparation and as transport media, as well as washing and dilution.

To prepare

L of PBS with Ca2+and Mg2+ (D-PBS):

Calcium Chloride (mw: 110.98 g / mol)	#	#
Potassium Chloride (mw: 74.55 g / mol)	#	#
Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate (mw: 203.3 g / mol)	#	#
Sodium chloride (mw: 58.44 g / mol)	#	#
Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (mw: 141.96 g / mol)	#	#

Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
Add # of Calcium Chloride to the solution
Add # of Potassium Chloride to the solution
Add # of Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate to the solution
Add # of Sodium chloride to the solution
Add # of Sodium Phosphate Dibasic to the solution
Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
Filter-sterilize. Store at 25?C for up to 12 mo.
