HEPPSO (1 M, pH 7.85) Preparation and Recipe
HEPPSO is a Good's buffer used with protein separation in biological research. It is a Zwitterionic compound and binds strongly with copper ions.
To prepare
L of HEPPSO (1 M, pH 7.85):

  • Prepare 800 mL of dH2O in a suitable container.
  • Add # of HEPPSO to the solution
  • Adjust solution to desired pH with 10N NaOH.
