Chloroquine Preparation and Recipe

Chloroquine solution has been used to remove red blood cell-bound immunoglobin.

  1. Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
  2. Add 52 g of Chloroquine diphosphate to the solution.
  3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
  4. Sterilize the solution by passing it through a 0.22-µm filter; store the filtrate in foil-wrapped tubes at -20°C.
