  1. Prepare 800 mL of distilled water in a suitable container.
  2. Add 1101.32 g of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) to the solution.
  3. Add distilled water until the volume is 1 L.
  4. The resulting solution will contain 100% (w/v) TCA.
